what do you think of when you think of personal development for women maybe something like this or
this or this we live in a society where women still often get sexualized and personal development, therefore, is limited to a woman's appearance a lot of the personal development advice that you as a woman can find in
magazines and on TV is limited to diet and exercise and even though that is, of course, an important part of personal growth and personal development it is only a very very small part, in fact, there is so much more than women can focus on to grow into the best
the version of themselves and in this video.
I'm gonna share a couple of these different areas with you so let's get started we are gonna focus on two main questions number one who is you and number two what is it that you want to accomplish the first question who are you I answer by dividing it up into your body mind and soul each of these three components you can focus on in order to become stronger more educated healthier
and all in all a better person and if we start with the first component your body then, of course, that involves diet and exercise and how you train but it is a little bit for different reasons then society likes to tell you it's
actually not about looking the best you can physically look like and it's not about impressing your girlfriends and finding the perfect boyfriend it's more about actually being content with your body it's actually about feeling healthy it's about feeling alive and it's about feeling strong.
so you can tackle any obstacle in your way so I would say to hell with all these artificial beauty standards and instead focus on how you want to look like so you feel content how do you want to look like that you feel like you're the best version of yourself and of course that involves eating clean of course it involves training regularly of course that involves growing stronger developing muscles all of these things are part of becoming, The best version of self officialy when talking about your body but you have to do it for the right reasons don't do it because society and everyone around you tells you to but do it because you want to feel good do it because you want to feel healthy and do it because you want to live a long and exciting and active life so.
your body and how you treat it if component number one of who you are component number two is your mind and simply the best way to develop and challenge your mind is by reading a lot of course reading feed your information that then allows you to understand the world we all live in a little bit better but on top of that it helps you to think more clearly and to be able to absorb knowledge a lot faster if you have been subscribed to this channel for a while now that you know that I'm a huge believer in reading a lot and regularly and by the way if you haven't subscribed yet then this is your chance now and if you are interested in watching videos about how to read more and how to get into the habit of reading then definitely check out a previous video that I made about that honestly this life is far too interesting and far too complex to limit yourself to merely the knowledge that you've gained from school instead dedicate yourself to becoming a lifelong learner try to read a little bit every single day talk to interesting people that maybe know about stuff that you know nothing about go to lectures educate yourself whatever it takes to train and develop your mind you should welcome with open arms so after discussing your body and your mind the third component of who you are as a person is your soul and don't worry I'm not going to get to esoteric on you here what I mean by training and developing your soul is being content with who you are and where you are right now and in my personal opinion the best way to do that is by training mindfulness and meditation I have already made videos about meditation and mindfulness in the past so here are two of them that you can check out if you are interested in getting more involved with that but very briefly the reason why I advocate mindfulness and meditation so much is that it allows you to become more aware of what you do on a day to day basis who you are and by doing that you will discover what your potential is maybe untapped fuel and where you want to go with that potential so once there still is for you left to develop and left to explore if you are practicing mindfulness you will become more aware of what you do on a day to day basis you will become more aware of what your value to the world actually is what is the gift that you want to share with the people around you where do you bring the most value and how can you do that even more how can you be even more of service to other people because this is really what fulfills us as people and I believe that
especially for women that is an important and crucial part of their personal development journey you have to reflect on what you're doing rather than just get stuck in a rut so you need to create that faith in your daily routine where it is solely time for you and time for you to reflect on things this will then in turn allow you to identify challenges and face them head-on now we have talked about who you are you are your body your mind and your soul and about different techniques how you can work on each and every one of those areas but this is only one part of the equation because it only makes sense to grow stronger and develop yourself if at the same time you have a clear sense of purpose you need to know what you're doing that for what is it that you want to accomplish what is it that you want to do with your life with your time on this planet and it doesn't really matter what that is it should be that you want to be a super successful entrepreneur it could be that you want to be the greatest mother on earth it could be that you just want to live a very happy and satisfied life surrounded by friends and family whatever it may be you need to become the strongest version of yourself in order to accomplish that the two go hand-in-hand so actually without exactly figuring out what that you want to achieve there is no need for personal development in the first place and how exactly do we do this well the short answer is that this is a very complex question and I can hardly answer this in a 10-minute video but I do try to give answers in all the videos that I share on this channel where I'll talk about purpose where I talk about happiness in life and where I talk about finding your passion.
so make sure that you subscribe if you haven't already but I will give you a little glimpse here in this video about what you can do in order to find your passion find your purpose and find what really drives you forward in your life so three quick tips about finding your purpose in life and the first one is expand your horizon this kind of goes back to what we already discussed about nurturing your soul but also nurturing your mind read a lot travel a lot meet a lot of interesting people disagree with people argue with people but then also give yourself time to reflect on those encounters and give yourself time to really process what your role in this crazy world of ours possibly is so step number one is expand your horizon step number two is don't accept limits unfortunately for women in our day in age there are still limitations to what they can accomplish or what society tells them they can accomplish don't accept those limitations break down those barriers there are really no limits anymore you have the internet if you're watching this YouTube video you have almost infinite resources just by having an internet connection so use that use any opportunity to make your dreams come true and don't take from anyone who tells you that you can't do what you set out to do you don't have to be a mother you don't have to get married you don't have to fall into these Roll cliches that society still dictates us a little bit of course you can if you want to if this is something that you aspire to have them by all means go for it and then be the best mother be the best wife that you can possibly be but don't do it because somebody else you to do it because you want it and have this approach with every single thing in your life and then my third quick tip about finding your mission in life is simply being patient if you are in your 20s or even in your early 30s you still have a lot of time to figure out what you want to do you still have a lot of time to explore and you need to give yourself that time finding your passion in life finding your mission in life it's not something that you can rush it doesn't happen overnight you need to learn a lot you need to discover a lot and simply you need to also fail a lot and you need to allow yourself to make those mistakes because otherwise you will never arrive at the point where you actually know what it is that you don't want to do so you can figure out what it is that you do want to do so be patient with yourself don't be your own worst enemy by rushing things but instead be supportive of finding yourself and finding what it is that you want to accomplish and if at one point you have identified what's it's clear crisp vision for your life is then take this mission take this motivation of what it is that you want to accomplish combine it with who you are and constantly keep working on who you are and if you then put the two together you have the equation for personal development and becoming the best version of yourself I truly hope that this helps you on your path to personal growth and I'm looking forward to see you guys in the next video so make sure that you turn on the notifications as well so you get a quick little reminder when I upload my next video thank you guys so much for watching and I see you next time
