hey guys welcome back to my channel I hope you're doing really well and first up I probably look slightly different today because I'm sporting a rather high ponytail and that is because I have just finished filming my natural everyday makeup video so I'm not sure that will be up first or if this video will be up first but if it isn't already up then it will be coming soon and if it is then I will leave it links below but yeah when I finished filming that I thought well I'm already now I've got my makeup done I've got high ponytail I'll film another video so yes today's video is all about shirt dresses and I actually filmed a video similar to this in December which was focused around jumper dresses and in November I did one focused around suits and blazers so what I thought I would do for this year is perhaps every month pick out a different item of clothing that I'm loving and then look on the high street and pick out some my favorite of that item and then I will try each of them on and show you how they fit and how they feel and how I would personally style each them up because a lot of them are actually really versatile and I love the fact that shirt dresses can be dressed up or they can be dressed down with like little trainers and kept really casual and there is a big variety here we've got some midi some maxi and some mini so yeah little bit of everything as far as shirt dresses go um anyway I wrote ramble let's get going with the first dress ok I'm actually gonna start a dress but I already had in my wardrobe but I did check online before filming this and it is still currently in stock so I thought I'd show it to you anyway um but it is this beautiful gray snake print dress from Zara and you might recognize this from one of my server holes I think it was a few months ago now that I got this but as soon as I put it on I loved it the shape of it is beautiful it doesn't look like it would be that flattering off but when it's on it just skims the figure perfectly it's a lovely length I've worn this a lot with trainers but also one of those black ankle boots as well there is probably a couple of pictures of my on my Instagram of me wearing out I will pop them in to show you um but yeah I have loved this eye warmer a lot in I think probably in October before it got too cold I wore a lot with sort of trainers and a leather jacket over the top and it just looked really great I actually got this one in a size extra small but I will leave all of the sizes links below for each dress so if you do spot any that you love and I do forget to mention what size I ordered then all the sizes will be in the description box as well um but yeah really beautiful dress loved this and thought it was a great place to start I keep sticking with another maxi dress and this one is in a similar style to the last one but this one isn't a really beautiful sort of sheer chiffon II fabric so if I put my hand there you can kind of see that it's slightly see-through but then underneath you also get a black slip so it's not like a black mini dress underneath there - obviously stop it from being too see-through like the last one this would also look great dressed up or down you could wear it with a little pair of trainers and a black leather jacket and keep it really casual or it would also be great for work wear as well if you cleaned it with some black ankle boots or black stilettos or even black over the knee boots worn underneath it would also look great as well and so yes beautiful dress very versatile and very flattering again okay next up is this beautiful cream shirt dress in a kind of utility style which is going to be a huge trend next season um again I love the color of this one I think it would look lovely coming into springtime warm with stimulus of tones so maybe like a baby brown shoe a sort of baby brown bag and keeping it really sort of neutral tones I think that would look really lovely and I happily teamed this up with some snakeskin boots for the trial clip and I think it worked really well it styled like that and the other thing I would say about this one is it does say it's a size extra extra small which just totally ignore that because I am a size UK six
